The franchise fee for your first studio is $50,000. Multi-studio agreements receive discounted fees: $40K for 2–3 studios and $35K for 4+.
No, you are not required to be a trained Modo Yoga teacher to own a studio. Many of our studio owners come from business, wellness, or leadership backgrounds and hire experienced teachers to lead their classes.
That said, we highly encourage all studio owners to attend our Modo Yoga Teacher Training—even if you don’t plan to teach. The training offers a powerful immersion into our values, teaching methodology, and community culture. It helps owners lead with deeper insight, build stronger teams, and stay connected to the heart of the Modo experience.
The total estimated investment to open a Modo Yoga studio ranges from $500,000 to $750,000, depending on studio size, location, and buildout requirements.
This includes the initial franchise fee of $50,000, build-out estimates and operating capital. Multi-studio agreements receive discounted fees: $40K for 2–3 studios and $35K for 4+.
