I am so happy I took part in the eight week prenatal yoga course with Jen. It was so much more than a yoga course, Jen created a space for us all to share our experiences and an opportunity to make friends with other expectant mums, and dads. Many of us have kept in touch and are continuing the motherhood journey together. The pregnancy yoga practices Jen taught encouraged me to keep up a modified regular yoga practice throughout pregnancy and also provided me and my partner with some great tips for massage and breathing before and during labor. Jen is an experienced, calm and encouraging teacher and I highly recommend these classes.

This 8-week in-studio interactive prenatal course will prepare you for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. Each 90-minute weekly yoga class will intelligently guide you through a sequence safe for all stages of pregnancy. Childbirth education will be interwoven with breath-work, mental visualization, pelvic floor/core work and other techniques designed to help facilitate a deeper mind-body-baby awareness that will assist you in birth and beyond. In-studio classes are non-heated and will be at Modo Yoga Portland. One class in this course will be a support person/labor positioning class with a partner. No credits or refunds can be given for missed classes.
