The seed of yoga was planted within Mallory at the age of 12 when she joined her Mother at an Iyengar Yoga class. It wasn’t until years later that this little seed grew into something much greater. Mallory’s journey into Yoga was a saving grace as she found it at a time when she was experiencing significant physical and mental health challenges. Yoga became an invaluable tool in her toolbox while she navigated the world of alternative medicine and her own path of healing. After overcoming these challenges, Mallory decided to dedicate her professional path to serving others. In January of 2012 Mallory travelled to Brazil where she obtained her first level certification in Yoga, completing her 500hrs with Modo Yoga International. Since then Mallory has explored additional training in Yin Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga Nidra and Psychosomatic Therapy. Mallory has come to believe that life (and yoga) is a series of lessons, shown to us through our experiences and that the path to freedom starts by first looking within.
