Yin Teacher

My yoga journey started 18 years ago after developing knee injuries from long distance running. I enjoy all types of yoga, but I mostly practice Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and most recently the Modo style of yoga .

I have over 500 hours of Hatha and 100 + hours of Yin yoga training. Over the past three years my focus and passion has been Yin yoga. I am inspired and motivated by the physical practice of asanas and the mental and emotional clarity that comes from this great practice. My aspiration is to be able to teach this to others with Love, Gratitude and Grace.

When I’m not practicing or teaching yoga I spend my time at the Toronto Buddhist Temple as a member in addition to volunteering in different aspects of Temple life. I am also an assistant Bell Master to Ray Nakano who is a meditation facilitator with the Mindfulness Practice Community of Toronto teaching Mindful Meditation based on the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh.
