“Set your life on fire, seek those who fan your flames” - Rumi

I initially was introduced to yoga, like many practitioners, through injury.  I played basketball extensively throughout my school years and after getting a serious knee injury, sought out yoga as part of my healing process.  However, what was revealed to me through this process was so much more than improved health, it changed how I looked at everything in my life.  I discovered more joy and a much better appreciation for my body as my practice developed.  I continued my yoga practice throughout University and decided by the urging of my family to take my 200 hour Hatha training under the guidance of Melanie Checknita.  I completed this training in 2012 and with great happiness finished my Modo (Level 1) training in 2013 in sunny Los Angeles, California.  My passion for Yoga led me to continue my studies and train under Baron Baptiste, Bryan Kest, Yumee Chung and Christina Sell.

Yoga is a journey that provides constant opportunities for renewal, reflection and wellness.  I am so grateful to teach you and be amongst teachers that share the same joy through yoga!   My mission is to help you move your body intelligently, and to source your own power through practice and play.  My hope for you is to embrace your fullest potential and possibility.

When I am not teaching or practicing yoga, I can be found chilling with my family, friends and travelling.  I love music, good food, motorcycling and the great outdoors.

Excited and grateful to share my Yoga teachings with you Sherwood Park!
