In 2011 is when I attended my first yoga class at Modo, I left feeling very challenged and wanted to take my training. But that wasn’t my time yet, so I just continued to practice yoga and take barre classes over the years. I’ve always had a passion for fitness and healthy lifestyle as I trained in karate since I was 7 to 18. I quite enjoyed the intense discipline and I found a huge connection between yoga. I then participated in the karma program for a bit then was asked if I wanted to teach Barre. I have always wanted to teach and guide people through a class to bring people closer to themselves so I immediately hopped on that opportunity. I love how barre makes me feel, and that challenge of it to tap out of the brain and connect breath with movement to completely fatigue the muscles. I love sharing this with you all and brings me so much joy. I hope when you leave those doors you feel more strong inside and out, more confidence, and inspired.
I then went on my journey to take my YTT course in 2022 in Hatha yoga, having that training has deepened my own personal practice and how I teach. Truly helped me connect mind, body and soul. I feel so blessed to be apart of such a loving community, it feels like home walking through the doors. Beyond grateful to be able to teach and practice both of these amazing teachings.
