Troy first discovered the power of yoga in 1999 and began to develop his practice more thoroughly in 2000 in India during his travels and Reiki training. Over the next decade, his practice started to dwindle being so actively engaged in work and all sports: hockey, snowboarding, rock climbing, trail running, mountain biking, kick boxing, etc. Eventually, his body started to show signs of breakdown and that’s when he discovered Modo Yoga. Not only did the Modo Yoga sequence heal and strengthen his body, but it also aligned with the philosophies Troy lives his life: caring for the environment, being healthy, supporting community, continuous learning, being accessible and accepting, practising philanthropy, living in peace.
