Shuna has been practicing yoga for more than 35 years. She also loves being artistic, cycling around Toronto, social ice dancing, and long walks in the country. In 2011, her husband Tim, introduced her to Modo Yoga Uptown. It was magical! The studio was a place to challenge herself without expectations or judgement. The Modo Series and the hot room helped to cope with anxiety and stress.
Shuna is especially dedicated to the Modo Yoga pillar “Live to Learn”. During the pandemic, she joined Modo Yoga International online for their Yoga Teacher Training, supplemented by the Trauma Informed training through the New Leaf Foundation. Shuna would like to help her students find the therapeutic joy and strength that she has found in yoga.
