Rocket Yoga “It gets you there faster”
Rooted in the Ashtanga Yoga method and sequenced by Larry Schultz. It was designed to make Ashtanga Yoga more accessible. It is a set sequence and consists of Rocket 1, Rocket 2 and Rocket 3. Prepare and open the body systematically to try the energetic arm balances and inversions sprinkled throughout the sequences including options to create a practice that feels good and safe for your body. It is a playful practice and has a set structure but there is room to manoeuvre and make each practice different and one of your own. It’s a moving meditation that links movement to breath and will take you beyond where you thought possible! We will explore the bandhas, particularly Uddiyana bandha and Mula bandha. Opportunities to play with tripod headstand, forearm stand and handstand if you choose.
