Sarah first tried Modo as a means to compliment training for her first (and only!) marathon in 2008. It began out of a physical sense and moved to something much more profound and affirming. There was finally a space for the introverted extrovert to both be challenged physically and settle in, get familiar, and comfortable with her inner world. From there, she dove into studying and exploring yoga as a means of self-discovery, finding community in a new city and home in Stratford.
Over the years, yoga and the community have been there alongside her as she experienced the many joys and big challenges of the human experience. She just keeps coming back to her mat as a way to balance it all and she wants to inspire others to do the same. She is committed not only to genuine connection to others, but also has a passion for learning.
