Flow, Yin & Prenatal Yoga
Flow, Yin & Prenatal Yoga Teacher
Kate has been practising yoga for over ten years, and teaching for half of that time. She has completed over 500 hours of yoga training in vinyasa, yin, power vinyasa and pre-natal. Her training has taken her all over the country and the world, teaching in Mexico, Nicaragua, Columbia, and the far north of Western Australia.
An avid Ashtangi, Kate was initially drawn to the practice as a way to build strength in her body and find peace in her mind. Today, the practice of yoga means so much more to her, and she continues to be astounded by how yoga has slipped its way into everything she does.
Her main philosophy is about finding balance- effort and ease, strength and softness, yin and yang. Her classes will challenge you to find your edge, but then to find the calm at this edge. She likes to weave nuggets of insight into her classes that her students can relate to, and take with them when they leave their mat.
Kate recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy and practised and taught yoga up to 2 weeks before giving birth. She is keen to help expecting mums prepare their minds and bodies for this special event in their lives through Prenatal Yoga
