Adam Stonebraker co-facilitates the Modo Calm training.
He completed his Level 1 Modo training in Kelowna in 2014.
Adam began practicing meditation in 2000 and Yoga in 2002. His meditation practice has informed his yoga practice from the very beginning. Because of this, he naturally gravitated toward slower practices and found a home in Yin Yoga. Adam sees Yin Yoga as the perfect vehicle for self-inquiry due to the passive and quiet nature of the practice, but also as an essential practice in keeping the physical and energetic body vibrant and healthy.
Adam has led retreats, trainings, and classes around the world and is passionate about bringing contemplative practice back to yoga culture and bringing yoga to contemplatives.
Adam’s main influences are his primary teachers: Sarah & Ty Powers, Paul & Suzee Grilley, Joe Barnett, Kittisaro and Thanisara, and Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche.
