Anand teaches posture workshops at the Modo Yoga Foundational Teacher Trainings.
He completed his own Modo training in Montreal, QC in 2013.
Anand is an eternal student and teacher, having taught regularly in Modo studios since 2013. He continuously pursues and shares healthy living on many levels, being a lover of Yoga, Osteopathy, martial arts (Brazilian Jiujitsu, mainly), flotation therapy, and valuing connection with nature. He teaches Modo, Modo Flow and Modo Calm/Yin Yoga in-studio. Anand loves to guide both slow and fast-paced yoga practices, including Vinyasa, Restorative, Chair Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation. He has previously worked as a Peer Support Guide for Modo Teacher Training graduates, and is passionate about helping new teachers find their footing. He is especially driven to work with youth to share his knowledge and experience and has previously been a facilitator for Newleaf Foundation. As a current Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Anand enjoys applying his understanding of anatomy and mechanics to the Modo practice, with a special interest in ensuring that practice is safe and therapeutic.
