Lena Laforet teaches Mindfulness at the Level 1 teacher trainings.
She completed her Level 1 Modo training in Toronto in 2007.
She practices meditation in the Soto Zen tradition and weaves mindfulness into all the activities of life.
Lena and her husband Joel live a permaculture inspired lifestyle on Salt Spring Island. They planted a pawpaw orchard and hope to support this unique fruit’s comeback (pawpaws are tropical fruits that grow in North America!).
Lena sprinkles Spanish into everything, and if she could live off of just one food it would be coconuts.
