Nancy teaches Modo (Moksha) Yoga, Yin Yoga, Alignment based Hatha Yoga, and Restorative Yoga. Nancy’s love of yoga began with the practice of Sivananda Hatha Yoga more than 20 years ago and Moksha Yoga (“hot yoga”) 10 years ago. She travelled to Kerala, India in 2010 where she obtained her first 500 hour teacher certification in Modo (Moksha) Yoga. She is also certified to teach Modo (Moksha) Level II and Modo (Moksha) Flow Yoga. A dedicated student of yoga, Nancy has also obtained certifications in Alignment Based Hatha Yoga (200 hr + 500 hr), Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga and Soma Yoga. Her interest in the management of stress, anxiety and depression, lead her to also complete certification in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy / Stress Reduction. Nancy’s sincere interest in health, wellbeing, care of people and the human body resulted in a very rewarding nursing career from which she has recently retired. She is happily continuing her pursuit of knowledge in these areas through her ongoing study, practice and sharing of yoga.
