Nikki Maronese

Nikki found yoga by accident in 2006 and ever since, it has always been a part of her life. Initially attracted to the physical aspect, she quickly realized how much the meditative and spiritual aspects were influencing her life in a positive way.

Nikki has been teaching exercise classes since 2009 and has always loved helping students achieve their fitness goals, relieve stress and have fun while doing it! Nikki incorporated yoga into her teaching in 2011 upon completion of the 200 hour YTT program through Yoga North in Duluth, Minnesota.

While she is a certified hatha yoga instructor, you will see evidence of many styles in her teachings. She has been strongly influenced by Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Gentle Flow, Restorative Yoga, and Yin Yoga. Depending on the class, you may see representation from each of them! She strives to keep her classes fresh by changing things up each week and works to bring humour, support and a non-judgmental attitude to her class to let students feel more at ease on their mats.

Her wish is to encourage everyone to begin their practice and open themselves up to the possibility of change in their lives. Nikki feels blessed to be able to share her passion with her students and aspires to bring as much healing and grace to her students through the practice of yoga as it has brought to her.

“Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are.”
