Tef Shojai

10 years ago, Tef began exploring various disciplines of yoga with a view to enhance and expand her running objectives.

This initial curiosity led her to obtain her 200 hour training at Yogaspace in Toronto under the guidance of Kathryn Beet, Hali Schwartz and Patricia White.The curiosity has been and continues to be, the underpinning of Tef’s unique teaching style while leading her classes.

Tef’s passion and commitment continues to nurture her appreciation for the body in particular, the profound impact a disciplined yoga routine has on mental health.

She is a life student of yoga and as well as other complementary practices.

Tef is all about creating a “safe space” for everyone in her classes, regardless of their ability. Her classes typically follow a hybrid of flow and holds – fast enough to move the body yet slow enough to feel the movement . In addition to flow clases, she teaches Hatha.

Tef feels that life is all about increasing awareness and goes well beyond the norm to help those who want to develop that awareness as well.
