Jamie began practicing yoga while exploring and discovering different methods of movement. After joining Modo Yoga Vancouver in 2018, he connected deeply with and was inspired by the philosophies and spiritual-mental dimensions of yoga, as well as the benefits that emerge at the intersection of mindfulness and exercise. Continuously inspired by the communities and culture of acceptance fostered through a collective practice of yoga, Jamie sees the art of teaching as an opportunity to hold space for self-exploration and vulnerable movement without judgement. In his time off the mat, Jamie enjoys coding and drinking (too much) coffee with oat milk.
