Trystan, (known also as Try), established his connection to physical and mental exercise from a young age through his upbringing and relationship with his grandfather – a Ju Jitsu sensei. He has been practicing yoga and pilates for more than a decade, a passion he discovered in 2004 while attending the University of Toronto. In 2010, Try was introduced to the Modo Yoga community and shortly after began his journey to becoming a certified instructor. Try’s goal as a teacher is to offer students a safe space to explore their practice, invite deeper awareness of expression in each posture, and encourage students to discover their own mindful practice, thus creating a conscious connection to their true authentic self both on-and-off the mat. “Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.” – Gail Devers
