Jimmy began his adventure with yoga when he met Joanie in 2014. After working together on several projects related to health and wellness, Joanie introduced him to Modo Yoga. He had to admit, as someone who is constantly looking to challenge and surpass himself, that the yoga practice pleasantly surprised him by how much it takes him out of his comfort zone! Physically, of course, but even more so psychologically, given that the movements remain on the mat, with no linear propulsion, which is very different for him as a triathlete. Yoga allows him to move forward, into another dimension, diving into his inner self to feel, where we rarely go in our daily lives to take the time to observe and learn about ourselves. Jimmy is also a former morbidly obese man who decided to change his life just over 10 years ago. Trained as a physical educator, he now dedicates a significant part of his life to his own health and that of others. He wants to show people just how much we can achieve when we work towards physical, mental and emotional health.
