Karen has been teaching fitness for most of her life and discovered yoga when she decided to work on increasing her flexibility and realized the huge benefit it provided to her busy mind. She loves that the movement in yoga and the focus on breath allows individuals to clear their mind and practice being present. She continually looks for ways to teach students about the connection between the yoga in the room and their “real life”. Motivated by her desire to help others relieve their stress and experience the benefits of yoga, she completed her Modo Teacher Training in Nicaragua in 2017 and a year later completed her 500 hour certification. Karen promotes the benefits of yoga to her corporate wellness clients, at workshops and wellness retreats.
