Modo Yoga West Island is a community of inspired students, joined together by our love of yoga, our commitment to protecting the earth, and our drive to bring more peace into the world. We are a place for all. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a more experienced student, we offer accessible classes that are challenging, healthy and fun!
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Our practice is based in making sure that you feel safe and comfortable from the moment you step into the door and onto your mat. Our classes range from beginner/foundational level offerings to more challenging classes like our Power Flow, Pilates and TRX classes. Curious? Shoot us an email or give us a call and we’ll be happy to answer all your questions!

Modo Yoga’s 6 Pillars are the foundation of who we are.
As a community, we take care of ourselves, create inclusive spaces, nurture the Earth, support local groups, keep a beginner’s mind, and seek out peace. With these 6 Pillars as our guide, Modo Yoga hopes to change the world.
A healthy practice leads to healthy choices for the mind, body, and spirit.
Yoga is for everyone! All abilities, bodies, and backgrounds are welcome here.
The care, respect, and protection of our planet is tied to our own well-being.
We’re stronger together, and we reach out and support one another.
To be anything, we must learn. Stay humble, curious, and passionate.
We cultivate harmony—inside and worldwide.
OH, WHERE DO WE START…
Yoga on it’s own is a phenomal practice for your physical and mental well-being. Add a little heat and up the ante a bit! A good sweat session releases endorphins (the feel good hormones!). Check out our google reviews to get an idea of how you feel walking out of one of our classes (Feeling reborn according to Matthew!). It’s multi-sensory, stress-reducing, “intense in a good way” kind of challenge and might just help loosen some of those tight muscles. Ask anyone that practices hot yoga regularly and they will tell you – the benefits are many and it just FEELS SO GOOD!
