Melanie’s love for yoga began in 1999 when she found a yoga class at her gym and it quickly became part of her life. In 2012 during an extremely difficult phase, Melanie was able to find solace in her yoga practice. The studio at Modo yoga West Island became a second home for Melanie, and a place of safety, comfort, and healing. This experience led Melanie to follow her passion and embark on a new journey. In October 2016, Melanie completed her level one training in Montreal. Then went on to complete her Modo Flow training in Vancouver in 2018. As a teacher Melanie encourages her students to practice with a sense of freedom, awareness and self acceptance.
