Modo

A unique series of 40 postures that combine the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room (40 C). The modo series is a cardiovascular workout that loosens, strengthens and tones the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress. The heat allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood and muscles through sweat. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability.

Modo Level 2

Level 2 is designed as a therapeutic practice rooted in our 6 pillars. Building on the foundation of Modo and Modo flow, the sequence incorporates a variety of peak postures to explore so that you can gradually build towards mastery.

This sequence is balanced between a robust standing sequence and deep floor work, including a seated meditation, backbends, and yin-style holds to get into tight hip and leg muscles. Its physically challenging poses are there to open and strengthen your body so your savasana can be deeper and more meaningful.

 

Karma Class

Each week, at both our Donald & Waverley locations we offer donation-based yoga classes to raise funds for local and international not-for-profit organizations. Through our Karma Classes, we reach out, give back, and help support positive change. Karma Classes also align with our Be Accessible Pillar by offering yoga classes at a reduced price.

Get your sweat on and do some good – join us every Friday at 12:00 pm (Waverley Studio) for a Modo Flow 45  or on Fridays at 7:30PM(Donald Studio) for a Modo 60 practice.
