Throughout our busy lives we may sleep, but rarely take time to rest. Restorative yoga helps us learn to relax and rest deeply. With the use of props to support the body in positions of comfort and ease, along with gentle attention directed toward the breath, we alternately stimulate and relax the body to move toward balance. In a dimly lit room with soft music each posture is held for 5-15 minutes creating a state of deep relaxation and well being.
