Why do you love the Modo community?

I love Modo and the community because I am able to show up, connect, and sweat it out, all in the freedom of my mat and the space.

Why do you teach yoga?

I teach yoga to vocalize my creative thoughts and turn them into a physical practice. For me, saying something and doing the action that follows the words, translates into accountability. I am held accountable to show up, hold the space, and move my body. It connects together my mind, my body, and my heart, and reminds them to work together as a team.

What yoga certifications do you have?

200 RYT

If you were an animal, what would it be?

A shark, for sure.

You have one day completely to yourself in Columbus.  What do you do?

Have a quiet slow morning at home including coffee and homemade breakfast, pack a lunch, and head to a metro park for a walk, pop through the library to read my book, grab a cider or glass of wine, and I would end my day enjoying dinner with my family at home.

What’s your favorite yoga pose and why?

I love a good forward fold with bent knees to open up my lower back and having a little bit of space and length in between my spine.

You can only eat at one Columbus restaurant for the rest of your life.  What is it?

Mi Li Cafe
