Yin yoga –Long, deep holds encouraging the release of muscles and targeting deeper tissues such as ligaments,tendons and joints. Most of the class is going to be sitting or reclined on your mat.
Poses are held 3-5 minutes promoting an increase in strength and flexibility of the lower spine, hips and large muscles of the thighs. This practice also stimulates the meridians of the lower body which may have a direct impact on organ health, as well as helping to release blocked energy stored in the joints.
This class is held in a cooler environment with relaxing music and is suitable for all levels.
