Originally from Atlanta, Betsy was lucky to be introduced to the practice of Yoga at the age of 13. Her practice became consistent while attending University. In 2014, she completed her first certification and taught Baptiste Yoga at Down Dog Yoga in D.C.

She traveled the U.S. as an actor, performing on stage and screen, eventually landing in New York City. In 2016, she found Modo and was instantly drawn towards the strength of the practice and community.

In 2020, she did her 500 HR Teacher Training with Modo Yoga. In 2021, she started studying with the Prison Yoga Project.

She is honored to be a student and teacher at Modo and hopes to create a space for people to be themselves and find freedom in their practice.
