I've visited and practiced at many studios across the city over the years and I can confidently say there really is no place like Modo Yoga Bloor West. From the first-timer to the seasoned yogi, you'll find everything you need here and end up feeling like you're at home. The space and studio are open, full of natural light, and welcoming. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Lots of classes on the schedule and the regular roster of teachers all bring their unique approach to class and are wonderful in their own ways. The sense of community and family is so strong and inviting here. I cannot say enough good things about Don and Meg, the studio's director and manager (and teachers). Their dedication, love and passion for their business shows, and it translates into a more fulfilling experience for every person that walks through the door. At MYBW, y ou may come for a yoga class, but you always end up walking out with much more. Very grateful to have these guys in the Bloor West neighbourhood!!

This supportive gathering provides a rare opportunity for folks of all stripes to share the burdens and blessings of being human. Without shame or guilt, we will learn how to express the deeper parts of ourselves, our wants and needs, and to let go of harmful roles assigned to us. We will better learn how to live and interact in a more whole and vibrant way with our planet and all who walk upon it.
Circles offer a safe and gentle space for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to come together to share. The structure includes any or all of the following: opening meditation, intention setting, introductions, sharing, journaling, movement, dance, singing, music-making, and/or closing meditation.

Cacao is a sacred plant medicine that is revered by many indigenous peoples of the Americas and carries a particular significance to the Mayan tradition. Its spiritual uses, when prepared in the traditional way, connect us back to the spirit of creation, to the understanding of our life purpose and individual duties to humanity and the earth, and to the ancestral knowledge and traditions. This medicine opens our hearts to healing, connection, universal love, peace, and wisdom.
