I remember my first yoga class like it was yesterday! It was a cold January evening in 2011 when I walked into the warm Brooklin Modo Studio (then Moksha) for the first time. A friend who had been practicing for awhile convinced me to go with him. I was nervous and scared lying on my mat in the hot room waiting for class to begin wondering why no one was talking, I started looking around sheepishly wondering what the @#%& was going on! During class I remember feeling completely uncoordinated and thinking that this was the hardest thing I had ever done. I vowed I would never go back!! When class ended and I was lying in Savasana a feeling of calm came over my mind, body, and soul and even though I did not know it then, it changed my life forever…………it was just the beginning of the healing journey I’ve been on since.

My favourite thing about teaching yoga is when I see my students have that same feeling of calm come over them. Being able to help others on their own journey is the most rewarding feeling in the world.

My favourite meal is anything my Step-Dad makes!

I am a proud Momma of two beautiful children that rock my world every single day and you may be surprised to know that they are my two greatest teachers in life.
