Restorative Yoga combines supported yoga postures, therapeutic movement and meditative breathing practices designed to calm, open and release long-held tensions in the body and mind.  This quieting, heart-opening style of yoga helps the deep systems of the body recover, heal and restore flexibility.

Most postures and movements are done sitting or lying down and can be modified to suit your strength and flexibility.  Props such as: Blocks, Straps, Blankets, the Wall and Floor allow postures to be held for longer periods of time allowing breath and gravity to assist in letting go of tensions
