Renee Campbell

Teacher | On Maternity Leave

Renee grew up on the beautiful island of PEI & made the big move to Newfoundland in 2010. Renee is a retired synchronized swimmer who competed nationally throughout Canada. When she started university she retired from swimming and quickly took to the gym and running. When she moved to Newfoundland she continued lane swimming, running and going to the gym. When she had heard that a new hot yoga studio had opened up in St. John’s, she knew it would be the perfect complement to her active lifestyle. She had tried hot yoga in PEI and had loved it so she gave Modo Yoga a try – it was love at first sweat!

After her Intro Month she joined as a Member then as an Energy Exchange Ambassador where she rocked the Friday night shift for over 2 years. Renee’s love of yoga made the decision to pursue Teacher Training an easy one. She completed her Modo Level 1 Training in Kelowna, BC in 2016.

When Renee isn’t at the studio you can most likely find her running around the city training for her next marathon, knitting blankets, snuggling her two cats, eating nachos or traveling.
